The Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a 1998 U.S. copyright law that addresses copyright infringement on the Internet. As an Internet service provider, we are required by the DMCA to respond promptly to copyright infringement notices.
If we receive a DMCA copyright infringement notice for your IP address, we will forward it to you through the management office with a cover letter requiring a response (either contesting the infringement or acknowledging removal of the offending material) within 48 hours. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours, we may block some or all of your Internet connectivity until you respond.
As stated in our terms of service, you may not use the Castle Village network to steal (illegally download or upload) any copyrighted intellectual property such as movies, TV shows, music, software, e-books, etc.
